2. Introduction

A family folder is a complete record of a selected family prepared during community health nursing practical. This family folder is based on a nuclear family having an antenatal mother. The purpose of this study is to assess the family health status, antenatal care needs, nutrition, hygiene, environmental sanitation and health problems, and to provide need-based health education.

18. Conclusion

The family folder on family with antenatal mother helped in assessing the health status of the family and identifying pregnancy-related health needs. The antenatal mother had mild weakness and inadequate knowledge regarding danger signs and birth preparedness. Health education was provided regarding antenatal care, nutrition, IFA and calcium intake, danger signs, hygiene, TD immunization and institutional delivery.
